2026 MidYear Concert Info

A CONCERT OVERVIEW FOR ANY NEW PARENTS
1. Tiny Monsters are dropped and marked off at the marshalling area by their teachers, supervisors. The marshalling area is made obvious with signs as you enter the carpark.


2. Parents and families hang around and enjoy our coffee van until the doors open and then parents can find seats for the concert in the hall,


3. Each class performs their routine one after another on stage. While backstage, Tiny Monsters are entertained by their teacher supervisor with games and books.


4. At the end of the concert, each Tiny Monster walks the red carpet on stage with their certificate.


5. A Monsters Staff Member will then announce on the microphone how our Tiny Monsters Pick up process will run and parents will be directed to parts of the hall to collect their Tiny Monster. Please try to fight the urge to call your little one over to you until they have been properly marked off. This is for all of our Tiny Monsters safety and must be taken seriously - thank you!



EMERGENCY NAPPIES/PULL UPS/UNDIES/SHORTS ETC
Though unlikely to happen, we will have all supplies necessary for anyone who doesn't make it to the toilet backstage.



DON'T BE AFRAID!
If you have not yet experienced the wonder of a Tiny Monsters Concert, we understand that it may be hard to wrap your head around a concert full of 1.5 - 5 year olds!
But we want to assure you that 1) it works! and 2) it is one of the most magical and rewarding days of the year for all involved!

We can count on one hand the amount of times a dancer has not danced on stage and all of those little ones found their special moment at some point - usually on the red carpet with their teacher and certificate. We as a team are trained well for this day and take each moment seriously while keeping it calm and fun for you and the kids! If you have any apprehensions about attending this concert please call us with all of your questions and concerns!

HOW DO I KNOW ALL THE INFORMATION FOR MY DANCERS CONCERTS?

1. Put the concert date & location in your calendar

2. Know your dancers class name

3. Find out which concert your dancers class/s is in (concert 2, 3 or 6?)

4. Check your dancers concert Arrival time, concert time & pick up time

5. Read what your dancer needs to wear & bring to their concert

6. Book Ticked on WEDNESDAY MAY 13TH AT 10AM

7. Come along on the concert day & enjoy the show

WHAT TO WEAR?

All Tiny Monsters wear their weekly Tiny Monsters Uniform

Monsters Unicorn Unitard & Socks OR Monsters Aqua Singlet and Shorts

SHOES:

Pink & Lilac Dancers - Monsters Pink & Blue Socks

Aqua Jazz & Ballet - Monsters Pink & Blue Socks

Aqua Hip Hop & Acro - Mainly White Sneakers (clearly labelled)

Aqua Tap & Musical Theatre - Black Tap Shoes (clearly labelled)

If your Tiny Monster does two styles, our Monsters staff will change over your dancers socks/shoes

HAIR:

Girls with long hair - half up, half down

Boys with long hair - top knot/man bun

Short hair - tied, gelled or clipped off dancers face

PLEASE DON'T PACK ANYTHING FOR BACKSTAGE

As this is a really short concert we kindly ask that you send your dancer with little to no extra items including drink bottles. We will have water and stuffed toys for comfort backstage; however if either of these items will help your little one feel comfortable coming backstage with us, please make sure they are labelled and we will do our very best to look after them. While we will do our very best, Monsters does not take responsibility for any of these extra items.

DOES MY DANCER NEED TO WEAR MAKEUP?

No! Makeup is not necessary for our Midyear concert however students are welcome to wear glitter or Monsters coloured ribbons on their face or in their hair.

HOW CAN MY DANCER PRACTISE FOR THE MIDYEAR CONCERT?

Videos from your dancers classes are posted on BAND. You can head to our Monsters Members page to find the BAND Links for your dancer's classes!

CAN I FILM MY DANCER WHILE THEY PERFORM?

We will have a professional photographer at the event taking pictures of our amazing dancers onstage however parents ARE welcome to film and photograph their dancer at this concert too!
