As we move into 2026, we are continuing to thoughtfully evolve the Monsters Company Program to best support our dancers and the teams we are so proud of. As part of this growth, we will be taking a more consistent and structured approach to Company commitment and attendance.
When a dancer accepts a place in Company, they are committing to a full-year journey. This commitment is shared between dancers, families, and teammates, and plays an important role in creating a training environment that is supportive, fair, and set up for success.
While we understand that occasional absences are sometimes unavoidable, absences will not be automatically approved. Each request will be considered in line with our Company absence criteria, ensuring consistency and fairness across all Company teams. This approach allows us to protect the collective experience while still supporting individual circumstances where possible.
We kindly ask that families contact Miss Lettie at
as soon as they are aware of any potential absences, ideally prior to the date. Early communication allows us to work together to support your dancer in staying on track with their Company commitments.
Once communication has occurred, absences should then be formally submitted via the Parent Portal. This helps us keep accurate records and supports the safety and wellbeing of all dancers.
We also encourage all families to take the time to review the Company Calendar, which outlines important dates including training, events, and competitions. In our Company Calendar, you will notice different coloured sections throughout the year. These colours represent our “zones.” Zones indicate periods where dancers are expected to be fully present in classes, with no absences, as these are key training and performance times. Our green zones highlight the safest windows for families to plan travel or holidays, as these periods have minimal impact on Company training and commitments.
Just wanted to personally thank you for the amazing community you have created in Monsters. Savannah has gained so much confidence since joining and absolutely loves performing with her peers. The weekend showcase was amazing! Can’t wait to see them all smash the end of year.

You guys are so freakin’ awesome with the kids. What a fantastic show. We are so happy we found you. You really teach them so much within dance but also about self happiness. Even at 3 years old. Sienna just can’t get enough!

My daughter Sienna started with you this year and I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all the effort everyone in your team goes to to keeping the girls having fun in a safe environment as well as extending them individually. The passion is clear and Sienna definitely loves her time at Monsters Dance. She can't wait for Wednesday to come around.
